A soveriegnty invaded
Degraded for years.
Weakened by "no fly zones"
We're too smart to battle
A worthy adversary
Piece by piece, person by person
Then the overwhelming firepower-
Citizens scared shitless
Retaliating with crude weapons.
Curiously we call it terrorism
The Leader has little to say
He hides. Appears. Hides again
Spewing rhetoric
The party line. Forgive. Sacrifice.
Our people.
We need money for war
And profiteers
